It’s Been a While.
Well, I’m 22 now…7 days into my next birth year. I haven’t posted in a while…I’ve just been really busy and distracted with various things. I didn’t get into UC Davis; I’m currently appealing that decision with two of the best teachers at my school backing me up with letters. I’ll know my fate by May 31st :/
Besides that I met this great guy…Alex. It’s really weird how the world works. I was in mon/weds organic chemistry last semester and had to switch to tues/thurs this semester because I wanted a certain bio teacher…and he ended up being in my tues/thurs o chem class. I had had chem 1 with him a few semesters earlier but we didn’t know each other…and he had a gf at the time haha..why I remember this, I do not know. I guess I always had a feeling that I would get to know him sooner or later…and 3 semesters later, BAM! Hah. I dunno…our relationship is…fucking awesome. We just..fit. Like puzzle pieces..yea it’s corny..but so true. We’re opposite on things but in ways that we compliment each other…its so crazy. It’s just really nice to finally have something/someone so amazing in my life…I dunno I don’t want to get too personal over the internet where everyone can see hah.
Eh…today is actually a sad day. My kitty Araya…I actually posted about her a few posts ago but it was a while ago…we had to put her down today :( She was only 6 but the vets thought she had cancer…her kidneys were huge and weren’t filtering her blood properly…and she had an abscess on her back that just would not heal…my mom squeezed about half a cup of pus out of it the other night…it was so gross and sad. By the end she could barely walk…let alone stand. I couldn’t go with my mom to the vet…I didn’t want to break down like that…I pet her for a little while and cried like a baby before she left, and my eyes are tearing up as I write this. It was so sad how bad she was though…she just sat in one spot all day, and just breathing looked painful. She wouldn’t even blink or move her eyes, and she didn’t eat or drink anything for about 3 or 4 days. I’m really surprised she even made it to today; I expected her to die in the grass outside while she was laying out there on Saturday. She loved being outside and it was sunny, so it would have been a good time. I was sitting with her and I told her she could go, but she was a fighter and always has been. I hope she’s in a better place now :’(
I think that’s it for now. I hope to post more often. Time to study for finals…
